You can apply for a Prince Edward Island Marriage Certificate if you are:
Before applying, find out the type and format of the document required by contacting the organization to which you must submit it.
The Short Form Marriage Certificate (wallet size) contains the full names of the couple, place of marriage, date of marriage, registration number and date of registration.
The Long Form Marriage Certificate (framing size) contains the information as stated above, plus the place of birth for both parties.
Please Note: Those applying for a marriage certificate must ensure that the information be provided exactly as it is recorded on the marriage registration or the certificate will not be issued.
